Recycling Program
God’s Army Raising Youth is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on helping at-risk youth in the South Florida area through the use of after school programs, tutoring, counseling, and a variety of activities. The G.A.R.Y Foundation, challenges at-risk youth of South Florida to do better with their lives thru a Christ-centered approach by fostering a relationship with the youths by providing them a safe place to learn and develop character.
An environmental program that G.A.R.Y. Foundation supports is recycling. As stewards of the natural resources of the earth it is imperative to teach youth how to have a sustainable future. Sustainability is the ability of man to practice proper controls over the natural resources of the Earth so they can be used for future generations.A society with proper sustainability goals will organize a plan for the continuation of natural resources for their use and for the future inhabitants of the world. The practice of proper ownership of resources that you do not own can be considered as stewardship.
The reason we should practice this system of stewardship over the natural resources is so that present resources will not become extinct or low in numbers for future generations. The G.A.R.Y. Foundation uses the stewardship program two-fold. First, it serves as a teaching tool for the youth that natural resources are limited and if not properly taken care of they will not be there for future use. Secondly, it serves as a fundraiser to help support the youth in the activities they participate in. Please help us in obtaining our goals by partnering with us.
