Gary Lewis Biography

Gary L. Lewis was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He is a graduate of Dillard High School where he was in the top 20% of his class. Soon after graduation he enlisted in the Army and served a total of three years. While in the Army he gained various leadership skills that would allow him to excel in his field. Upon his release from active duty from the military he returned back to Fort Lauderdale, FL,where he has held various positions of employment with United States Postal Service and City of Pompano Beach, FL.

In January 27, 2001, Gary received the gift of salvation. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and sought the Lord for wisdom and guidance.  After years of maturing in the Lord, Gary founded God’s Army Raising Youth Inc. in December of 2007. G.A.R.Y. is a faith based nonprofit 501(c)(3) program that give youths an opportunity to develop the necessary skills to become productive citizens in their community. Mr. Lewis continues to be very active in the local community as such is his desire to see all young people regardless of race or economic backgrounds becomesuccessful in life.

In July 2011 he earned a Bachelor Degree in Theology from St. Paul Baptist Church located in Oxnard, CA.  He has also earned an Associate Degree in Business Management from American InterContinental University located at Weston, FL in August 2011. While attending American InterContinental University Gary was able to achieve the Dean’s List each semester and was elected to the prestigious Delta Mu Delta organization. He is on schedule to earn his Bachelor Degree in Business Management in June of 2013. Currently he is the CEO of AlphaScape LLC a government contracting company that he founded, which operates on a global scale.
